Young People Bible Reading Plan
This year, the entire church will participate in one year Bible reading plans. There are four Bible reading plans and two methods of recording: online and on paper. The reward for this year is very rich; everyone is highly encouraged to join!
Bible Reading Plan Calendar
【1st Quarter】January 1st - March 31st
Registration Date: January 1st - January 15th
Reward Date: April 15th
【2nd Quarter】April 1st - June 30th
Registration Date: March 25th - April 8th
Reward Date: July 15th
【3rd Quarter】July 1st - September 30th
Registration Date: June 24th - July 8th
Reward Date: October 14th
【4th Quarter】October 1st - December 31st
Registration Date: September 23rd - October 7th
Reward Date: January 31st (2013)
Bible Reading Plans
【Plan 1】Prayer-Reading of Fundamental Scriptures
Selection of most important scriptures from the Bible. Not much in terms of daily quantity, but the selected scriptures are all very essential. Suitable for new believers.
【Plan 2】
Finish reading the entire New Testament or Old Testament in a year.
【Plan 3】
Finish reading the entire Bible in a year: Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm and Proverbs every day, about 4-5 chapters a day. (Or any yearly Bible plan)
【Plan 4】
Regular attendance of Saturday Bible Study and completion of homework.

Reward
1. Church members * who want to participate in the Bible reading plan must sign up with a small group leader within the registration period. (Small group leaders please record registrations
here)
2. After finishing the plan for that season, please notify your small group leader before the reward date.
3. After small group leaders have recorded the number of people eligible for reward, they will obtain gift cards from the bookstore.
4. Every member who completes the plan for that season can recieve a $15 gift card from the church's bookstore. When purchasing FRMM (Forerunner Mission Ministry) products, you can have 50% discount.
*Church Members: Those who have already attended E1 and have become official church members or who regularly attend Sunday or Saturday service and small group.
Read Passionately!!
Consistently have daily devotion, with a desire to encounter Jesus:
- Set a specific time and place.
- Praise God every morning: 5 minutes
- Wait Upon God: 15 minutes
- Follow your Bible Reading Plan: 15 – 45 minutes
- Use ARK to pray-read a few highlighted verses: 5 – 10 minutes
- Prayer: 5 – 20 minutes
- Personal spiritual breakthroughs (may use FELLOWSHIP, TRUST)
- Personal needs
- Intercession: family members, friends, small group, home group, church, the nation
Note: It is highly recommended that you purchase the book "Prayers to Strengthen Your Inner Man" at FRCB (Forerunner Christian Bookstore), and use ARK, TRUST, FELLOWSHIP to pray.
Bible Reading Tips:
- Pick a Bible reading plan that is doable for you.
- Ask a friend and your small group leader to keep you accountable.
- Pray for the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation before you read.
- 5 ways to dig deeper:
- Highlight: key words or phrases in the Bible (you may choose a few different versions).
- Title: rewrite each paragraph in your own words.
- Questions: ask and answer questions: who, what, why, when, where, or how.
- Study notes: write down your own revelations and those from commentaries.
- Prayer and Journal: write down your personal meditation and prayers.
Live Abundantly!!
Steadfastly practice Inner Life, in order to experience transformation:
- Attentively listen to the Saturday night sermons and take good notes.
- Listen to the message again on Monday, and list and pray about your convictions.
- Solidly practice "Action Plans" throughout the week.
- Prepare for sharing on Friday night fellowship:
- What did you hear?
- What did you learn?
- What have you done as a result?
